Spreading holiday cheer to kids in hospitals is something we care deeply about because we both know it all too well. The holidays are supposed to be filled with joy, warmth, and special moments, but for children spending this time in a hospital bed, it can feel lonely and difficult. That’s exactly why we felt called to do something meaningful and impactful.

This year, we decided to create thoughtful holiday gift bags for the pediatric unit at Garnet Medical Center. We personally filled each one with cozy socks, coloring books, small toys, crafts, and sweet treats. Every item was chosen with love, with the hope that it would bring a smile to a child’s face and make their day a little brighter.

As individuals who live with our own daily challenges, we understand how important it is to feel seen, especially during the holidays. These kids may be facing tough times, but a little act of kindness can remind them they’re not alone.
